new audio system

i am planning to put a sq system, but i have a very very small trunk space, would you suggest using a 3 pc component system? (tweeter, mid range and mid base) i want some bass in my car, or can anyone suggest any subs that is good for small enclosures? or should i use both?

soundsplinters i hear are really great sq and are made to fit small(er) boxes. i almost bought some.

use both, the 3 way in kicks/door and 2 rl-i 8's in the trunk.
