New and need some help

I'm completely new to car audio installation and things like that. I want to put a new system that involves 2 subwoofers, an amplifier, and a new head unit in my 01' Pontiac Grand Am for a fairly cheap price but still sound good. Does anyone have any suggested combinations or brands. Thanks

1. What is your budget?

2. What do you want from a system? (ie: Loudness, SQ, SQL..)

I would reccomend you buy ONE subwoofer, a 12" or a 15" and port it. You will safe yourself money, power, and space.

For loudness, alright..

I would reccomend buying everything used if you want to stay on a low budget.

Are you going to be building your own enclosure, or having it built for you?

get pioneer or alpine head unit

prob wanna check the classifieds here for good deals on stuff

check refs before u buy though

Okay, well.

Look for a used 12" or 15" There is a a DC level 3 that would be nice off 1kw or so in the classifieds.

Find someone local to build you a box for 150~ or so.

Find an amp between 800~ -1000~ watts or so. Then you gotta get all your wiring too.
