New amplifier instalation

My current amplifier is wired with 1 gauge wiring a believe, and all connections are made with spade connectors, my new amplifier says the largest wire it accepts is 4 gauge and it is one of those connectors that is circular and has a allen-key screw down onto the wire. is there anyway to get my old wire to fit? i know i obviously have to remove the spade connectors

how does that work? do i attach a strand of 4 gauge onto the other end, or just attach the end of the reducer to my amplifier
