New amp?

I have a Kicker Comp VR 15" in a sealed box with a 600 watt Kenwood amp (Kac-728s) It hits hard, but im looking to go a little more than that. Will a new amp help? If so, whichdo you recommend? If not what kind of sub and amp do you recommend? Adire? Im into bass music (rap, hip-hop, progressive, trance) This is in my '95 Pontiac Grand AM

id say ditch both. buy a new sub and a new amp to satisfy the sub.

alot of subs just try to look around.

ED, Brahma, XxX and all those stuff. amps ALOT also!

what's ur budget before you sell ur current sub and amp?

the cheapest way might be to just sell the amp and get another kicker compvr 15, do you have space for 2 of them?

Actually no, i barely have enough room for one 15"!. I would like to keep it, but if another amp wont help much. I think im better off getting a new sub and amp. I think i would get a 12 or 15" adrie brahma, but not sure what kind of amp.

u abrely have enough spare for the 15? do uh ave space for a ported box?

if so, i'll recommend the ported box first n see how u like it, if not then get the sub/amp. it's just ported box would be much cheaper u know.

When you say price range, is it for amp? sub?

Price range for amp- $350

Price range for sub- $450-$500

no to bandpass.... snova would come after you, lol

would 2 12's fit? if not, keep what you have and just port it - slap a more powerful amp on it.

2 12's would definitley fit, maybe even 3. I just dont like the punchy bass 12's give. My friend has 2 12' solo barics (old circular ones) sounds good, but too punchy bass for me, i like that deep bass. What amp would you recommend, i heard my kenwood probably isnt powering my amp more than 400watts, eventhough i have it bridged to 600 watts at 4ohms. Also i have a Kenwood kdc0217 HU, not the best. Would a better HU help?

no you don't have to necessarily get a new head unit..

you said 12's are too punchy, is that just from hearing your friends 12's or 12's in general? Also, what 12's does your friend have that are so punchy?

what ohm kicker compvr do you have? then i'll be able to suggest an amp..

My friend has 2 kicker solo barics (old circular ones) Other subs i have heard (jlW7, kicker comp vr) Sound too punchy for me. I have the 4ohm kicker comp vr
