New amp or not

Im a noob to all this car audio stuff and i was wondering if i should throw out my SPL 820 watt amp and get a new one bc im looking into buying a 12" power Hx2 from rockford????

What are you all planning to have for your system? I'm just starting all this too and looking to upgrade to newer and better things.
