new amp maybe

i currently have an eclipse ea4000 4chan. amp for my jl inner speakers, i can get a really really good deal on a jl 300/2 right now, ,,, is it alright to use that amp with my 6.5s and 6 by 9s since its only 2 chan. or should i just keep the one i got?
