It's reading about .5-.6 Volts AC. Does that sound right?

take them off the deck and then turn everything on. touch the tips with your fingertips. should hear a slight to loud hum from the sub depending how high the gain on the amp is turned. if you hear the hum , it means your RCA's are good and your deck is not sending signal to the amp.So I got a step closer tonight. I plugged my phone into the rca jacks on the amp and played from my mp3 player. So the amp appears fine. Of course I had to tear apart the whole mother f'ing dash apart again to get to my rca's on the HU, but whatever. I switched the preouts from sub/rear to front(full range). Still nada. So it would appear I have a problem between the rca's and the HU.
I can't find any settings that are screwed up on the HU. I even reset it and switched around the preouts again. Could something be wrong with my rca's? Is there a way to test them?
Yeah. I had the volume way down.......no should be upwards of 30-80 volts with the volume up
