New amp giving me the finger...

So I got a new MB Quart Onyx 1.1500D a couple days ago and decided to swap it into my current setup to test it out. I ran it to a pair of older Kenwood 12's, SVC 4ohms. Wired it for a 2 ohm impedance for the amp. Hard to get it wrong with single coils....Triple checked my connections and even followed the manufactures installation startup process. Zeroed all my knobs, etc. Nothing going to my subs. I know the subs are good, I had them playing before I switch out the amps.

Everything looks fine. The amp is powered up, not protected. Yet zero output from the subs.......?

check the actual A/C output from your amp with a DMM. you may have a bad amp.
or your H/U may have a subwoofer setting that got turned off accidentally.
What type of sub setting might I be looking for? Something other than the dB adjustment?

Did you "unzero" the gain knob once it was all hooked up?

So I got a hold a DMM finally. I'm not the best with these, but I took a solid states circuits class like 5 years ago and haven't used one since. Anyway I powered up the amp, turned the DMM to DC, black to neg, red to pos on the speaker outs. Getting 0 Volts. So it appears my new amp is not putting power to my subs.

Seems unusual, but my rca's are in the sub out on the HU. Would it help to try them on the full range out?

So I got a step closer tonight. I plugged my phone into the rca jacks on the amp and played from my mp3 player. So the amp appears fine. Of course I had to tear apart the whole mother f'ing dash apart again to get to my rca's on the HU, but whatever. I switched the preouts from sub/rear to front(full range). Still nada. So it would appear I have a problem between the rca's and the HU.

I can't find any settings that are screwed up on the HU. I even reset it and switched around the preouts again. Could something be wrong with my rca's? Is there a way to test them?
