I bought the same one a while back, then returned it. It only gave me about 150 amps at 3000 rpm they lie about specs on that site. I bought a local one after that for 170 IIRC from mg electrical and it can supply 1655-170. I had to shim the alternator up higher because I could not find the right size belt. and that alternator from db was less than 60 at idle.

they have no link its a local shop that supplies local auto shops. number is 847-394-1698 they also have true 300 amp alternators I had one like it I got from the junkyard years ago. If you can make a large case GM fit they can make a nice 200 amp out of it. This is the cheap way to get more POWAH but otherwise you need a custom case and I never found any one who makes a drop in.
