New AA Assasins 10"

i Ordered Two 10" over last weekend direct from AA, they got to me on wed. I have them in a sealed 2cuft. box with a kx 600.1 powering them and they sound real good so far. I previously had 03 model type R's and i think these might sound better. I listen to rock, and the bass is very accuate and punchy, they rarly ever miss a kick drum beat. Not to mention a hell of a deal. These seem to be a wise bang for buck buy.

I got a 10" in a ported enclosure and will give it a listen this weekend. Might get a second one or two 8's if I like it.

Stick some wood in the enclosure to see if you like the sound better. They recommend .7cuft per driver sealed.

i got 2 10's sealed too and they sound just fantastic...

louder then i "expected"

i got them too when they were on sale for $55 a pop, best $110 i've ever spent!

When I bought my G/F two 10" Assasins I built a 2ft^3 sealed enclosure and yes they do sound **** nice...nicer then my 2 ported 12" Type R's in a 4ft^3 ported box at 35Hz but I think the reason is becuase my ported box is tuned to 35Hz and as we all know a sealed box gets you flatter frequency response so of course it will sound better.....but no matter what I'll always be louder then her LOL.

Yeah I noticed they raised the price to like $70 per 10" assassin.....glad we got them for $55 a piece FTMFW!!!!

Throw them in a Wicked one or 3cuft@30Hz if you really want them to wang. They dont need more than 200w each to get decently loud in either of thoes enclosures.

I currently have 2 10" Image dynamics id v3s non idmax style in my ext cab truck on ajbl 600.1 I love the sq but I would like a lil more thump while gaining some floor space back. I've been considering doing 4 8" assasins on the same amp you think that'd fit my needs? I listen to rock mostly sq/spl
