WTF.. Now Stetsoms get subsonic filters? Oh well, i'm happy with my amplifier... Any new specs though? Is 16v necessary to get full power?
Amp will go into protect anything over 15v. This is designed to do full power on regular 12.8v. I was told that it does 7k at 1ohms at 12.8v vs old 7kd did 7k at 13.8v.WTF.. Good question...its not like amps put out high voltages or anything...so it really doesn't make sensewhy does it have a "danger high voltage" sticker next to the speaker terminals? ... or on it at all for that matter...
Rail voltage inside the amp can exceed 160v which can be dangerous.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifGood question...its not like amps put out high voltages or anything...so it really doesn't make sense
fyi 7k at 1 ohm is >80volts...if your house can easily do damage to you I'm sure 80 volts is gettin there
and I'm sure if you don't know what you're doin and are just messin around with the gain you could get that thing puttin out well over 120v
