scott, the turbo t owner, said the cutoff before the turbo would work and with a mass-airflow sensor system, the computer would take care of the fuel and timing mapping to correct for both vacuum and boost....

his problem with the story is that the hyundia would have to be putting out somewhere in the neighborhood of 1200hp at the wheels to whoop a na car with 700-800hp at the wheels...

that wasn't my statement, that was scott's..who owns a turbo t type buick (gn, just not black)

and according to him, it would still have to make close to that, regardless of weight.....ur talking about a na throwing out 700+ to the ground and a bunch more torque.......

even with a 2000pd difference, a turbo 4 putting out 300(which is what scott is guessing the hyundia is doing) to the ground won't walk big block putting out 700 to the ground.

and i doubt there is a 2000pd difference.

that's all i'm saying......maybe the hyundia wins, maybe not...but not the way that is described in the story, unless other info was left out.
