"that was the by-pass on the exhaust, you cant hear jacks**t until that switch is flipped. Took me forever to work it out. Cuts out right before the turbo so no blow-off valve, wastegate, or turbo whine. Just the sound of a crappy exhaust to hide the beast in front of it." We kindly responded....How would you like a job.....
K, I dont know turbos incredibly well, but I'd like to think I know more than a little..
Are you saying he had a pipe in front of his turbo, on the inlet, that he can switch to allow air to get to his turbo or not to?
Im lost.. He needs a wastegate...
OR are you saying he has a seperate pipe coming from his header than he can either switch to go to the turbo, or go to the crappy exhaust? And when he switches the switch, it goes to the turbo, and acts as a turbo'd car?
Basically that'd just be a butterfly in the exhaust manifold w/ a seperate exhaust. IF I'm right that is.
