Never got off a speeding ticket like this. . . EVER.

Figured i would share this story. Crazy cops, I was heading down to a show halfway across colorado to hit the cinco de mayo sound off in Pueblo, Co. I was with another member of the forum (got_focus?) heading down and we fly by a cop on the interstate. He pulled me over and told me i was doing 79 in a 55 the speed limit just switched from 75 to 55 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif. Anyway he asked for my papers and asked what the rush is all about , I said we were heading down to the sound off. Cop seemed like a serious a hole. Amazingly he asked me about my setup and i told him, i was really confused at this time. He walkes back to his car and says "ill make a deal with you,. . . You turn up your stereo and if i hear no rattles ill let you go, but if i hear rattles than i gotta write you a ticket for 24 over. I am in shock, as well as my buddy. lol. So i ask him if he will write me a sound ticket if i do and he says im not a prick like that. OK, so i let it rip. Played love for money by willie the kid and this is priceless. . . He sees my windsheild flexing and checks it out, i pause it thinking thats enough, nope he says holy shit hold on turn it back up i want to see the back window. Ok, so i unpause it for about another 10 seconds and pause again. He walks up to my window and hands me my papers back and says slow it down, and walks back to his car and leaves. WTF. . . lol, i just got done sealing my trunk off to the cab a few days prevoious so i have no rattles in my trunk whatsoever, (unlike in my videos) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif i sat there for a little bit in shock on what just happened. But i got out of a huge ticket. I thoght it was crazy so i posted it up! I got pulled over once a long time ago because an ambulance reported a car "similar to mine" driving very slow through this subdivision across the street from where i was. I was at a gas station at the time.

I was never over where they said i was by the way.

Anyways, they had 6 cop cars out there in this parking lot!

They noticed i had a setup in the trunk at the time so they told me to turn it all the way up.

I asked the same question if i was gonna get a noise violation, he said not if i told u to do it.

So i did and he stuck his head in the car laughin at everyone in the car that was cringing to the pressure.

I was standin out of the car like... WTF is goin on here?

Finally he came back up to me smilin and told me i could go then all the cops kinda just huddled, laughin and talkin about the stereo.

I've had a cop in waco, texas pull me over because he didn't know what make/model of car I was driving.

At the time I was driving a 1979 Lancia Zagato.

I have 2 layers of SS damp and fatmat throughout my trunk.............and my ish still rattles like a bish.........now that I have decent equipment.

So must be that you are not loud enough.........or you have mass amounts of deadener!

NM, you said truck. My buddy's truck is wicked and it don't rattle all that much and he is close to 150. He has not 1 lick of any sound deadening in it either, lol! I hate him!
