My sincerest grievances go out to the family and friends of all those that lost there lives on this fateful day, 12 months ago. Today is a day that will stick in everybody’s minds for ever because it was not just a attack on America, it was a attack on the way that democratic society’s wish to live. Peace is not an absence of war, it is a state of mind. Make the best of every living day. Protect freedom.

Isnt it odd that 9/11 was a whole year ago? Seems like yesterday to me.

9/11 is a day etched in everyones mind. No matter where u are from it is etched in ur mind. If ur anti american its a day of celebration, if ur for us its a day of sorrow, rememberence, and prayer.

From my point of view, 9/11/01 made me take a step back from my life and re-evaluate the precedence of my priorities. It made me think "What am I doing today to make someone else's life better?", "What am I doing to make a difference, allbeit a small one, in American culture?". It also made me look at everyone else around me in a different light. It made me look at my fellow man with a caring eye as opposed to not caring where they were headed, if they are hurting today or why this person just cut me off in traffic. I feel very sorrowful for those who lost a loved one and pray every night for those children whose mothers or fathers did not come home that dreadful day. I realize this sounds very teary-eyed and morbid, but all this old man asks is that everyone take a step back, re-evaluate your priorities, start putting country first again and do somenthing beneficial for your fellow American.

Remember how people say that everyone who was alive remembers where they were and what they were doing when Kennedy was assassinated? Well I think this is one of those things...I remember I was drinking a smoothie from smoothie king on my way to second period(world history), when i got there the news was on and the first tower had been hit about 5-10 minutes earlier i suppose
