nerve damage?

saturday night i fell asleep at the wheel, didnt know i was driving got a DUI and careless driving.. yea sick..

i hit some construction shit at about 40-45 i have no damages both airbags blown

im 100% except on my left hand my index and middle knuckles and half way up my hand is numb.. like its been injected with novocain, i can still feel things but its numb... its been like this for 3 days or so...

do the nerves in the arms/etc come from the neck? would anyone happen to know what this might be from or if neck should be checked?
