Whats the best way to install neons? I just got my new box in and it looks killer so i want to show it off with some neons. (ill do the picture soon) Do I have to run a wire from my battery or could I possbly run it off of my remote wire? I want at least one neon in the trunk and maybe two inside my car. Let me know if you have any info. Thanks.

Also I have one more question. Will it really hurt my amp if I have it mounted on top of my box? I am running a Kicker 200.2 and two 10" Kicker Comps. Will it really make that much of a difference if the amp is mounted on top of the box or right in front of the speakers on the floor? I know people say that mounting amps on the box is bad because it will rattle the amp too much but don't you think that it would be basically the same if the amp is right in front of the subs on the floor?

Anyway, any help would be awesome.

as for the neon s I have never heard of them being wired to the remote lead to your amp...although I have heard of someone who ran it off of the power wire to the HU or the amp...one theory is that the fuses in your HU or power amp wire may not help your neons in the case of a surge...but I dont think it would even if wired to the battery...i would just wire it to the battery to keep it simple...thats just me

Wire straight to battery, have seen people go through cigarette lighter.

yea u could go cig lighter but the cosmetics are all jacked...just go buy an little switch and mount it and run it strate to battery

i have 1 24" neon running off the amp remote and it is all good

Same thing i was planning on doing..im pretty sure it's fine b/c the neons only need like

my friend has his wired in to his backlight of the car, so when ever he turned the car on, that neon turned on.
