The easiest way would be to tap into thetrunk light feed wire with a relay.Or you could use a seperate pin switch. like you would for an alarm or for your ars dome and trunk lights.
Just one problem I have with neon lights. If you have a high power system and you havn't upgraded your alt or battery you are draning important power! Not saying that neons are not cool, b/c I love the look of cars with neons, very good cool factor but to me, they are nothing but a waste of power which could be going to your system. That is just my opinion. you're standard Bosche or Potter & Braumfield relay would work, the ones with terminals: 86, 85, 30, 87a, and 87they are really easy to wire, check www.bcae1.com for instrucions and more info
