I've just bought myself a new boat, and I'm looking to equip it with a decent sound system. Right now, it has nothing. I want to have at least two component or coax speakers, and one sub. It has no head unit or anything right now. Sooooo, what ya got? I'd like at least a 4 channel sub, but 5 or 6 channel would be great. Anyone got any marine amps for sale? I'd like to start with an amp, and go from there, but ill look at any piece of the system I find a good deal on if I don't have it. (I need a depth finder/GPS too lol)

a local guy that i sold my old kicker amp to said that he quit putting marine amps in his bought bc its alot more expensive and he just put the amp well hidden and has not had any problems but i guess thats just him id still get a deck thats water proof

I cleared my pm's. They should be good to go. That sub is most likely too large. There is little room for a bulky box. I hope to find a free air sub I can mount in a panel at the rear of the boat. So that amp is not a marine amp? If mounted in the nose, it may be OK anyway.

Who is the maker of the amp?
