Need some help

Ok well here is the situation. My gf hates pets like cats and dogs and I have always had one in the house growing up. I just found a dog on craigslist for free that comes with everything I would need to get started. It has shots and is neutered. The only problem is she said that if I get it she will break up w/ me. I do care about her and dont wanna lose her over something stupid but at the same time I would like to have a dog. So what do you think I should say to try and convince her into not being upset with me getting it?

Just get it, if she breaks up wit you cuz you got a dog which makes you happy than she aint the girl for you. unless shes alergic or somthing than i could understand but if not than shes just trying to be controlling and **** that!
