alright so i wanna just throw a small system in my escalde right now. Dont wanna do anything real big because i plan on selling it soon. I wanna know how many watts my stock electrical will push? Ima buy a kinetic batt. but other then that it will remain stock. its a 2000 escalde with the 5.7 vortec. I dont know how many amps the stock alt is.

Honestly, most stock alts can do 1K+ Watts RMS.

My POS stock alt on my Mustang supports my 1K RMS Watt system flawlessly. I have a Duralast Gold series batt and stock alt and that's it and my lights don't dim or anything... even at full blast nothing dims.

And assuming your car is much bigger and nicer and newer, it should be able to push just over 1.5K RMS maybe? This is all speculation and guessing, BTW.

I'm running ~1500wrms on music with a 117A alt. I will be adding a 2nd battery for the long bass notes though.
