Need some help with XXV-01

There are a few things I can not figure out. First I can not fast forward a cd with my remote. Every time I hit the button it just goes to the next track and yes I hold the button down. I can do it with the controls on the head itself but not the remote. Second I have sirius hooked up my issue with this is. Sometimes whatever channel I left it on when I shut the truck off is the channel that comes back on when I start the truck back up thats good. But more often than not it will go to 000 and say searching. The only way I can get it to get a signal is to go through the sources and come back to sirius. So my question is are there any settings that will fix these problems or can someone tell me what I am doing wrong.

AFAIK, the remote will only skip tracks. I'm pretty sure my last 3 Kenwoods were the same way (I've got a XXV-01D BTW).

When I had Sirius on my last HU it would do the same thing once in a while. I generally left it alone and it would come back on its own. I just chalked it up to it receiving a signal from space!

x2 on the fast foward, i have a x679, same deal. just use the deck if you gotta fast foward

Never tried with my 25th annivesary,something to look out for.
