need some help with window tint

alrite 1 choice i can get it $175 all around any % tint with 5year warrenty...choice two is $200 all around with lifetime warrenty...whats the better deal? i was thinking the $175...do you actually need longer than a 5year warrenty? these are both good quality shops...

I'd go for the lifetime warranty if you plan on keeping the car. There's probably a reason that the first shop only warranties their work for 5 years.

How long are you planning on keeping the car?

if you plan on keeping it...i would go lifetime....

if not, 5 years should be plenty....and if they use high quality tint, it should last around 10 years anyway....

If you find out what types of film they are I can tell you which is the better choice. Most 2, 3 and 5 year warranties dont last the length of their warranty. Which is why I dont carry anything but lifetime warranty film in my shop.

Another thing to think about...what if it does fail in 4 years? Is the day you wont have your car because the tint is being fixed, worth the $25 you skimped in the beginning? My time is worth much more than that.

Also, 90% of retints are not done properly...most shops dont give a crap..especially if they are having to warranty their own work.

for an extra 25, I would go lifetime. Usually better tint.

That is not entirely true. Some shops offer 1, 2, 3, and 5 year warranties, because that is what the manufacturer specifies it to be. Not everyone wants to pay for a lifetime warranty tint, and if the shop isnt in a nicer area..they would go out of business quick.

Now, if the shop doesnt carry lifetime warranty tint at all...then yes, I would be weary.

Go for the lifetime since your gunna be keeping the car...
