Need some help with 6x9's

I am looking to upgrade my rear 6x9's in my grand prix. I have a very good Pioneer deck and currently have BOSS speakers throughout. The BOSS speakers were there when I bought the car and I have blown all of them. They ****. I am looking to spend around $100 and have a few brands and types in mind. My only thing is that I am not running an amp and do not have a sub but I want something that has a lot of bass and clarity as well. I listen to alot of hip hop, mostly Tech N9ne. Should I go for 3 way, 4 way, 5 way? should I go for the most RMS wattage? should I go for the most peak wattage? I know I sound like a noob but I am pretty new to car audio. Any advice would be helpful. As it stands I am leaning most towards Pioneer TS-A6994R 5-Way Full Range 80 watt RMS 600 watt Peak.

If u plan on running off HU then u need to find the most efficient 6x9's u can afford. Forget all about rms, max, 3, 4, 12 way..... Efficiency/sensitivity is what you should be looking for with such lil power.

I don't like how the low end Pioneer 6x9s sound off head unit power. The bass is very thin sounding and the treble on a 5-way speaker is going to be eardrum-bursting. The bass is going to be lackluster on just about any 6x9s without a good amplifier on them. You might blow your next pair of speakers from cranking up your volume past the point of distortion. This is the reality of what to expect out of such little power.

Kicker KS693 3 way and Kicker DS693 3 way are both on my list
Look at the two way. I really think the 3 ways are gonna be too overbearing with highs. In my daughters 96 Honda Accord I put 2 way Kenwood 6x9's on the rear deck and Sony 3 way 6.5's in the doors. The 3 ways brought the sound up front. If I would have put 3 ways on the rear deck, thats the only thing you would have been able to hear.

Hybrid Audio Mirus. These are truly high end coaxial speakers. They are based on HAT Imagine component speaker. If you want to go a step up, consider the HAT Imagine, 6x9 version, since they can be installed in either coaxial and component form.
