im having some trouble with my subs. i blew a pioneer 760 amp that was in my truck (accidently ran it at 2ohms for too long) any way i had 2 10 audio bahns sitting in my shop and made another box for them to add to my 2 pheonix gold 10s i allready had, (all 4 ohm svc) i bought a ZXi-1308 2600 WATT 2/1 CHANNEL hifonics amp. got it wired it up, it would turn on but would only give a small blurp here and there. i got my buddys kickers which are known to be good, and hooked them up, same thing. i sent the amp back, got a new one. hooked it up, the subs will move but they hit like door speakers even when turned all the way up. i bought a new amp from walmart just to test with. same thing. alltough after the truck has been sitting a while on start up they are louder than after running for a while. i re grounded my ground wire, ran new RCAs on all the tests, i have not yet tryed another set of speakers on either of the new amps, but i would have to suspect the head unit. im not sure? also its a kenwood head unit. all my fuses are good. any more tests i could do to figure out what my problem is?
