Need some help picking Coaxials...

I don't think you'll notice a large enough difference in coaxials between REV and focal/hertz to make those two worth it. I would try ebay *GASP* yea I said it.. for the revs.
is this what your referring to? I cant seem to find any 6 X 8s, im curious how hard it would be to have someone make some baffles for me and what i would have to do for that?

nice, not sure why that didnt come up in my search, lol. Now do you think doing baffles and having 6.5s would sound better then the 6X8s? Ive heard mention that circle speakers are better at reproducing sound then ovals? Is the extra effort worth it?

If its a temp setup just throw in the 6x8's if you want it be permananet get the 6.5 comp set.
you think the comps will be good to stick with? I might go ahead and pick up a set of comps and just do it right the first time for the fronts, what about for rear fill? Baffle it to 6.5 or just do the 6 X 8s? Thanks.

Just worry about the front for now. Don't even mess with rear fill until you have your front stage set up and imaged properly. If the fronts aren't enough for you after a few weeks, then throw in some coaxs powered off the HU.

i have to worry about the rear fill, one of them is blown... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Otherwise i would still make do with the stockers...

I meant disconnect them/remove them altogether and put your focus on the front stage. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Forget the Pioneer REV or the old Premier D-Series (if they're yellow and made of Kevlar forget them). Their overpriced and discontinued. You can find the newer ones (which are a lot better) most places for the same price.

If you want components, you'll be looking for these:

If you want coaxials (in oval), look for these:

Otherwise buy a speaker adapter and get these:

Those are the D-series we've been talking about (and agreeing with you about since you recommended them first in post #3); and since they are currently cheaper and more readily available than the old yellow cone REVs, they would be the logical choice.
