Need some help on what to ask for for CHRISTMAS!!!

Well, FWIW, perhaps look for a 4 channel amp that you can bridge to 2 channels and start with your fronts. If you feel you still need rear fill, then you can go from there. Dump the idea of a cap. If you are not into installing stuff yourself, perhaps ask for a gift certificate for one of the install shops you will be dealing with.

Go **** a dick if you're not gonna offer any advice. Read the title of the post and keep your lame *** comments to yourself.

To the OP, you have a nice list started.

HUs I personally like Pioneer and Alpine but shop around and find something you like.

Speakers once again shop around and try to listen to as many as you can. Then, when you do find something you like try to find a deal online.

For the sound deadener everyone seems to like the Raamat and it did quite well in the showdown. I have Edead v2 and it works very well and is a bit cheaper.

For the wiring Knukonceptz has never steered me wrong and plenty of others will vouch for their quality and service.

Forget about the cap. Watch the voltage with a DMM and if any drops I would go with a second battery or if your battery upfront is old even replacing it with a newer one may stop any voltage drops as long as you're not planning on running a ton more electrical components.

Um, who are you talking to? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Thanks guys for the REAL advice.....it is really appreciated. To the guy who posted all the links......You may have found my amp for me and front speakers, those are some really good finds and exactly what I was hoping to find by making this post.

dont take anyone's comments too seriously.....it seems like more people get on to this forum to vent anger than it does to discuss CA shit

lawl at all of you with e-rage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

dont listen to all the douchebags that just ***** at each other. but you're welcome for the list. I used that amplifier for about a year and loved it. Im pretty sure it puts out more then rated power too, because i had it running on some 75RMS speakers at 4 ohms, and they could only handle about 1/2 the amps power.

I'de reccomend either pioneer or alpine headunits. I like pioneer because of the equalizer options, but if you want something more basic then that, Alpine is good too.

You cant go wrong witht he kicker component speakers. As for those type-S's you have, those should do just fine as your rear speakers if you want to save some $$$

and knukonceptz is gonna be the best bang for your buck for your amp installs.

No such thing as Boxing day in the USA. We don't celebrate sports where people beat each others brains in...

To the OP, Boxing day is what the people up north call the day after Christmas (along with the most other British nations like Australia, great Britain, etc.).

For those that don't know yet, boxing day is pretty much the same thing as black friday sales in the states. It's not a holiday, it's mostly just a great day to do some shopping. Last year I picked up a 2GB SD card for my camera for about 70% off. Big screens are usually up to $800 off.
