need some help building a HT setup

http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/htpackage.php
Front Chs; 6T6 Tower Pair

Center; 6T6 Single

Rears; 6T6 pair

----> Around $900

Use your sub, but I would recommend just selling your existing sub and putting the money towards the package and picking up a HT sub as well...

Then save up for a nice receiver or even picking up a brand new Pioneer 7.1 Reciever and biamping the front towers...
i'll never give ed a dollar of my money ever again

Nothing Pioneer's built recently has impressed me all that much...
My SA-7100 isn't too shabby, especially for 20 bucks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Gotta love old school build quality...
Your right on the recent stuff though, unless you pull out the big bills for the elite equipment...

Hence the "recently" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Their silver-faced stuff in the late '70s were up there with everything else...although the Sansui G-33000 and the Marantz 2600 are still my favorite receivers all-time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

And you've owned these? Well knowing you I wouldn't be suprised.

I don't know the model, but I have been trying to convince my step father for some time to give up his Marantz he put in storage. He doesn't use it but doesn't want to let go of it, because he has had it since he was 20 something and it is nostalgic. It is beautiful is all I know. The lighting, silver face and meters are just sexay.

EDIT: Looks a lot like this one. I will confirm model # next time I am in Indiana.
