I am hooking up two memphis 500 class d amps to in trunk. Someone told me not to hook up capacitators to them because they are class d, and they have caps built into them. Is this true? The local car audio store said to hook up a seperate battery to them in the trunk. How do I hook this up to the battery in the front of my car? What gauge wire do I use? And will my alternator power both of these(it is a stock alt. but it is only 2 years old)? I have a 900 watt cold cranking amp in front right now. Can I run both amps off this? Thank you for any ifno at all if you can help me.
