Hey whats up guys, Im new to this website and i have been spending laot of time on here researching so i just got a username lol. Ok so now...
I am currently researching on trying to get a new alternator for my 91 honda civic crx. My set-up is an Alpine CDMA 9853, (2)15" Digital Audio Spl subs, (1)Kicker zr1000, Optima Yellow Top, 4 gauge power and ground wires and Stock Alt ( 60 amps ). When i had gotten my brand new optima i was able to play my music at full range but i had my speakers in the amp unbriged @ 1-ohm. Then i took them out of unbriged mode and them put them in bridged mode and they start pounding and all of a sudden the power cuts out only on the amplifier. I have a 3 farad cap in there that i want to take off but i dont know if i should or should not. I came to a conclusion that i need to get a bigger alternator and do the big 3 in 1/0 awg. My question is, am i right or wrong about my conclusion? Are pics needed?
