I am planing to buy a complete system in a few months. I have spent many hours online looking up stuff to buy. I have finally made my decision. Maybe?

I have a 2000 F-150 Ext. Cab. I also have 2 children and no second vehicle. So I am limited to what I can do.

I have almost decided on Kenwood Excelon every thing...879 head unit, x688c 6x8 2 ways, 4 chanel excelon amp, 2 10' xw1005db subs, 811 mono amp, and downfire box. And of course Sirius radio. I listen to a lot of rap. Do you think this set up would be good? I dont have to compete but would like to in a stock class just for fun.

Also, a co worker of mine has a competiton ready system and is looking for sponsors. Do you guys have any advice for him?

kenwood head unit only maybye, why do you want everything kenwood? kenwood is not that great for the money.

i went to a car audio shop,,, and they were displaying subs and shit,, and the guy was talking to us,, and he said,, Yea you cant hear those subs, the kenwood cd player just took a shit on us,, there junk... then the next customer walked in, and was looking at kenwood, and he was like,, yea kenwoods are great decks... i just wanted to add taht for i thought it was funny
