ok i got a alpine in-dash tv i hooked up all the wires i checked to see if it came on before i put everythang back in it came on and everythang was cool so i put everythang back together and unit would not come on so i took everythang back out messed around wit if for a minute and it came back on so i cut the car off and tried again it would not come on and it havent came on since that was yesterday so i unhooked all the wires and tried to hook up the power wire and the ground wire to the battery it would not come on. so i decided to hook my jvc cd player back up when i hooked it up it would not even come on so i decide to test it to the battery and it came on so i figure since i had a about 5-6 different cd players in my car i might need to get a new wire harness but that didn't even work so i don't know what is wrong. and i check my fuses by the driver floorboard and under the hood and on the cd players all the fuses are good. any help? i have a 96 honda accord

I'm confused by you saying "came on" is that just the unit or the screen?

Keep in mind Alpine's have those safety parameters (E-Brake and Brake wires) in place that you need to bypass in order to view the screen correctly. I still am lost at what it is thats not working. Take it to the pros...its 30-$40 well spent for proper install.
