Need Help

Sup guys,

Can someone please tell me whats wrong with my sub.

I hooked up the new L7, which comes in a load box from kicker (wired at 4ohm), to a 1200 watt 2ch PT amp bridged. The first day it was working fine. However the next day the sup was making a cracking noise as i would turn it up, than it would start moving really fast and than just pop out and stay that way. However if i hook it up to just one ch not bridged its fine.

What the heck is going on. Is it the amp

yeah, its usualy the amp that will cause that type of effect on a sub.

now some Q? for you.

1: did you read the amplifiers installation instruction manual before installing the amp?

2: did you double checked all your wire connections to make sure theyre tight, secure and in the right location.

3: does it doit on when you hook the sub to ether channel?

4: does it only happen on mono mode?

5: do you have both sets of RCA inpu cables hooked up?

yes i have check all of the above, and it only does it when its on mono mode. not sure whats going on.
