JIMMY GO BOOM BOOM
all I did to put my cap in is first hook the ground of the cap to it then all the amps grounds to the (-), all the amps power wires to the (+) of the cap then lastly put the power on... turn the car on and see what happens

I would try a pair of Bass Blockers on the rear speakers. I always place them on Coax. speakers generally, Should help quite a bit I like PAC ones...
