I have used **** near everything you can imagine to rip wood with. Use a table saw 90 % of the time. While using a circular saw may take a little longer sometimes . It has always seemed a little easier to cut larger pieces with the circular saw and a straight edge than using a table saw. Have you noticed the same ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifI was under the impression he was just listing the tools he had, so he said he had a circ saw with laser sight. I have built boxes with a circ saw before.... if you use it with a straight edge, its no different than using a table saw, just takes much longer.
never thought of that. then why have a circ saw with a laser sight???? i tell u what tho i would never use a circ saw to build a box, i would only use a table saw.
In my case, I use a circular saw most of the time. The fence on my table saw only goes to 14". I have a five foot long piece of aluminum that I clamp and use.I have used **** near everything you can imagine to rip wood with. Use a table saw 90 % of the time.
