1 how do you know what size to make your box to make it sound best?

2 how do you know what size port or ports u need and how long they should be?

3 how do you know if u need to port your box or make a sealed box?

4 is a mono amp the best to run subs? or is channel amp ?

1. Through modeling and experience...experience being more reliable

2. Big enough to avoid port noise but not too big enough to result in a giant *** port. Port length is a function of net volume, tuning and port area...

3. Depends on what kind of output you want. SPL lovers typically want higher tuned ported boxes while SQ lovers typically love sealed boxes or lower tuned ported boxes. Depends on the style of music you like as well as your available space.

say im running the sub below with a infinity 350watt amp what kinda calculations would i do to get the hardest deepest bass? (i built a box but only to fit under my back seat not by a certain specs...
