need help with vetned box

whats the difference between the vent design in these two encosures.. in one box, the vent goes straight back and and thier isnt that board behind the subs that makes the vent curve (90 degree)

ive never heard a box before that was slot vented AND didnt have that board in the back for the vent. so does it make it louder with or with out it

just tunes it lower

90 degrees curve=turbulence, turbulence=possible port noise...make a curve 45 degrees with an mdf plate and ure good to go
