need help with system design!

First, I have no clue about car audio...that being said, I want to install a system in my rig. I have a pioneer head unit with USB and aux inputs with xm. I would like two 12" subs and four component speakers. So I'm guessing a 4 channel amp and an amp for the subs. I don't need or want a comp level system, just something to blast while driving. If yall could let me know watt sizing of everything like speakers, subs, amps, I'll do the choosing of what to buy...I'm on a budget (two young kids so not a lot of money for dad). I'll probably get speakers with built in crossovers unless they ***** to use. Also since I'm clueless, could you let me know anything else I'll need to get it done. I'm buying a prebuilt box to fit under my trucks back seat to fire the subs upward. Thanks for any help!

I basically just don't want to do any stupid purchases. As in...do I buy 80w speakers or 200w speakers. Component or coaxial? Depending on speaker size, what size amp? Do I get amp that puts out higher watts than speakers or reverse? Can I bridge speakers together and also the sub? I'm trying to avoid noob mistakes, but again I don't need flashy high priced gear. Was looking at Fosgate speakers, and Pyle amps

So I'm thinking about going with four fosgate 2 stage 40w rms coaxial speakers driven by a 1600 or 2000 watt 4 channel fosgate amp. And a 2 channel amp for two 10" subs. Will that set up be given enough power by my stock altinator and single battery?

Do not buy Pyle amps.

How much do you want to learn?

Get some cheap (but decent quality) gear to start out with. Lurk around on here and learn.

What's your budget? We need a number.

You'll need decent power/ground wire. Everyone forgets about or skimps on this.

Idk much about monster cable but I'm sure someone on here will have first hand experience with the stuff I run knu koncepts in my trucks

DODGE QUAD & CREW CAB 2-12" VENTED

JBL GTO 5EZ 5 Channel Class AB D 1935 Watt Car Audio Stereo Amplifier 1935W Amp 050036313285 | eBay

Easiest speaker swap would be the kicker/mopar upgrade they sell on ebay. 6x9 midbass and 3.5's for your dash. 150 bucks roughly and sound pretty dang good. Other ways to go also. (Flame suit on but when amped they have strong midbass and sound good)

Subs. I would go with sundown e12's. Unless you can find some used boston or jl w3's.

Rear 5.25's just get some cheap ish ones. Pioneer ts or kicker cs will do fine. Splurge for jbl comps for 70 bucks if you want.

That truck will fit 6x9 front and rear. My nephews truck 2011 ... We used kicker 6x9s...and a planet audio 4 channel amp with a crossover built in.. Again.. None of that is great audiophile equipment.... Couple hundo..... And the best part......

The 4 channel amp and a smaller footprint sub amp fit behind the dash and under the center console.... When you put a deck in... You have to pull nearly all of that out... You can tap into the factory speaker wiring and not ah e to run new wires thru the doors.. All your rca and wire runs are very short.. Everything stays compact and hidden...

you dont need a bunch of speakers and subs if you do it right. 1 good set of component speakers, 1 sub and 1 or 2 amps can do it. having speakers everywhere can cause a lot of acoustical problems

you should probably read all this stuff... https://jlaudio.zendesk.com/forums/21315683-Tips-Tricks

and watch this..
