I had a stroke a few years back and my math isnt what it used to be, so im hoping that somebody could help me with a box for a single subwoofer. I have a Sundown audio 12" "e-series" subwoffer and want to build a box for my Jeep Liberty. I need a little grocery room so i need the box to be more of a rectangle vs a big square. I have plenty of room, but I would like the depth to be 13 1/2 at most.

I used re speaker box calculator just to kinda show what i was thinking the box would look like. The Sundown audio E-series is the same as the SA-12. Thanks for any help on my situation

Sens: n/a 1w/1m

Xmax: 12mm one-way linear

Enclosure Suggestions:

Sealed: 1.0 ft^3

Ported: 1.5-2.0 ft^3 @ 35hz

Displacement: 0.12 ft^3

Outside Diameter: 12 1/4"

Depth: 6 1/2"

Cut-Out: 11 1/8"

if running on rated power, run the subwoofer in 1.14ft^3 internal SEALED, stuff with fiberglass insulation (medium stuffing, with Pink Panther). You wont see any magical gains from running that driver in a ported box, as its far more suited to run sealed.
