Need help with speaker install!

I just got my Alpine SPR-136A's and am now installing them. My problem is that the parts of the speaker that you screw into the door are not closed (ei. they are like U's) so when I tighten down the screw they just slide out the end. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Try putting in more than one screw before tightening them down. If you have at least three in there holding it, then when you tighten down it will just push against another screw and stay in place. If that doesn't work make it ghetto and drill your own holes.

put in one of the bottom screws and slide the speaker over that but don't tighten it really tight. then put a screw above on the opposite side and that will hold the speaker inplace then tighten all of the screws. should have 4 screws.
