Need help with ported box plans..

So i have came arcoss a lvl 5 18" that i just could not pass up.I am in need of some box ideas/plans, I have a temp box for it right now at 5 1/2 cudes tuned around 33hz. The make n model of my car is 2002 ford explorer. As of right now i have a POS logic 2000d, if im lucky im probly getting 1k or so out of it. For future plans on sub amp will be saz 1500d, 2000d. Or aq2200d or 3500d. The music i enjoy to listen to is of course Rap/R&B, Rock/Metal. Would love to see what you guys think please let me know.

Maybe that is the case, i might just rebuild another one or carpet this one to finish it off. Thanks for letting me know

Yeah, volume and tuning wise you seem to be in the right ballpark. You just definitely need some more power to throw at that thing.

Money is always the issue in my case, being a college student doesnt help ;P But i will be getting a REAL amp soon enough. Hoping for the best. Thinking about AP3k? lol
