Hi,
I have had this hu for several months now, and I have only been using it in std mode. Today I rewired and switched to network mode.
Big problems. Initially, sound was horrible, until I auto eq'd it. But, when I turn the unit up, my tweeters crackle, so I immediately turn it back down.
Amp1: RF Punch 400-4. Front: tweeters
Rear: mids
Amp2: RF Prime 750-1 Out: 1 12" Alpine type R wired to 2 ohm.
Components are Polk db6501's
Before, I was just using the rear outs to power the components using there passive xover.
Now, each channel gets 100w, and I am not using the passive xover's. Just the active.
I need help from the very beginning on how to tune this. Before, in std mode, tweets never crackled. System played lout just on 200w.
Now, with twice the power, it sounds horrible, and the tweets are poppin, and it doesn't get nearly as loud. What can be wrong, from the beginning.
This is my first foray into the world of active so, please help!!
TIA,
Viper
