I want to replace the factory system in my mustang. Today I replaced the door midbass speakers with a set of Kicker SSMB6's. They sound good, but since they're 4 ohm and the stock ones were 6 ohm the factory amp doesnt like them and turns off at higher volumes.

So with the new system I want to keep the factory 2.5" speakers that are at the top of the doors for vocals. The kickers will be installed in the doors and I want those just to play the lower frequencies w/o vocals like the stock system. The rear speakers are set up just like the front (2.5" for vocals, and 6x8 midbass). Im replacing those with just regular coaxial speakers.

The 2 10" factory subs will be replaced with a pair of 8" l7's.

My question is how am I going to wire this all up? My other installs werent this complex. I figured maybe getting a 5 channel amp and using the 5th channel and splitting it off the sub out for the midbass. With the stock system they're wired up mono as well so when I fade it left to right the midbass still play no matter what, just the vocal speakers fade.

I donno if you wanna read this, but it has a bunch of info about the factory system. The car came with the Mach 1000 system. 7 factory amps. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif
