need help with my ported box for 2 15L7s

if that port is only 16 inches on each side......and assuming 3/4 MDF, your box is 4.17 cubes per sub @ 44.97 HZ factoring in End correction.

thats ridiculous btw.

OK FORGET THE FIRST POST!

i made up a new design.

the new box is 40.5"x20"x23"(internal dimensions) with a 3/4" divider in the middle. that is 5.29 gross cu.ft. per sub. this what i came up with. the port will be 3.5"x20"x20.5". will this tune it to 35 HZ?

Hey Man,

Still aint got it in? Sorry about your missfortune with that first one not fitting. use this

Seance you got a divider, just go to the bottom and figure it out for 1 sub and 1 box, then make the other side of the divider the same. Enter you box volume, your wanted port size (as in the port area(H X W)) and the desired freq.

Using 5.3 ft cu. and a port 3.5 wide by 20 tall, I get 20.5 long as well for 35Hz, dont see whats wrong

on carstereo.com port calc i typed in 5.29 cu.ft, tuned to 35 hz, the width is 3.5", and the height is 20", and it said is had to be 20.46" in length. i rounded to 20.5".

i clicked that i wanted a slot port and square.
