need help with macroeconomics research paper

[hello again 10+ year member]

I need to do a 5-page research paper on a topic that has to do with macroeconomics. 5 pages is easy for me but econ is not my specialty.. at all. I've decided to do something that has to do with gas prices but i dont know where to take it from here.. here's what i've got so far:

1st paragraph - INTRO (talk about how gas prices have gone up dramatically since the 90's)
2nd paragraph - talk about WHY gas prices have gone up (supply and demand?)

3rd paragraph - ? no clue ?

4th paragraph - ? no clue ?

5th paragraph - CONCLUSION (summarize what 2nd, 3rd, and 4th paragraph are about)

this only needs to be 5 pages which is easy for me i just need good ideas so i can push-start a good train of thought and start mashing on the keyboarddd ; what are good 3rd and 4th pargraph topics?

I just did a research paper on OPEC, lucky you.

2nd paragraph - Talk about cartels and collusions and how they effect the economy. Then tie in OPEC.

3rd paragraph - Economically explain the rise and fall of gas prices (using supply and demand charts and other economic theories and models)

4th Paragraph - Analyze what will happen to gas prices in the future. This will take a combination of research and analyzation on your behalf.
