Need help with door speaker

Hey!

i am worried that once i install my ( link >>> ) NEW Cadence CWM-6KIT Aluminum 6.5" Component Kit | eBay

that they will be too long, my speaker well is about 3" and these are said to be 3" in depth, so, is there some MDF or something someone has cut out for these speakers that could fit? I just need 2.

I'd hold off till you actually get the components and see how they fit. But you can make a spacer by just placing the speaker upside down on a piece of wood and outlining it. Then just cut it out and cut the speaker hole out. I would wait because if you jump the gun, you may have too thick of a spacer and your door panel not fit back right. You can use mdf for the speaker spacer. If you barely need clearance you could go with like a 1/4" thick piece and it do the job.
