need help with battery/car trouble

ok so my carwouldnt start the other morning, got a friend to jump me, took it to advanced auto so they could test my bat. and alt., they said my alternator was shot and my battery was close to it, bought a new battery and ordered a new alt, drove it home and waited for the alternator to come then installed it when it arrived. ok so new battery and new alternator my car should start in the morning right?? nooo every morning i have to get a jump however it will stay charged through the day. i took to advanced and they said both were good and possibly something could be draining my bat at night? i disconnected my amp and sup a few days before this happened and went back to my stock headunit cause my kenwood is gettin repaired. anyone have any ideas what would be causing this??

my uncles battery was getting drained because a wire split and the energy would just drain for sum reason....so I say check your wires and maybe get a capacitor

Definitely check your wires.. but after that bit, disregard anything else he just said.

A cap NEVER helps anything. ESPECIALLY in this case. Obviously something is wrong with the wiring. How will a capacitor help? Answer that DaBurner. I reeeeallly want to know why YOU reccomend it.

its a 1995 dodge stealth and yeah i have a system installed but its unhooked right now cause my HU is getting fixed and yea i have a cap but the power wire is off the battery and the remote taped off on the headunit side

I had a battery drain once, it was caused by a bad underhood relay. The relay was supposed to turn power on/off to the HVAC/Daytime running lights/Voltage regulator, for some reason it stuck in the on position and caused a slow drain.

I just replaced the relay and everything was fine.
