I am trying to figure out how to setup the active crossover in the 9887 HU. The crossover point does not go over 200hz though for high speaker setting. My tweeters are suppose to be cut off at 3500.. could someone help me out with getting this setup properly so I don't blow the tweeters

if i change the switch on the bottom to 3 way, then all I get is tweeters.. no mids but can then select higher frequencies. If I change the switch to 4.2 setting I then only have the option to go up to 200 for frequency cutoff on highs.. could someone help me figure this out?

when switch on the bottom is set to 3way,

then:

front = mid

rear = high

sub = sub.

if you set it to 3way and only highs, then all your speakers must be running off the front preout.

I have 6 rcas going to my 2 amps, a 4 channel, with each speaker on its own channel ( 2 tweets and 2 mids) and then the sub rcas to my mono sub amp.

I will go mess with the rcas again in 3 way mode.. but I am pretty sure I have my mids on the rear rcas outs already.

When you get this figured out Ill be intersted to see how it works out. I want to get one and run a 800/5 with Alpine Type-X Pros running active through the 4 channels. How much range do you get with the mid and high on that deck? Good luck and let me know how you like it when its done, thanks!

i just installed a set of ID OEM 6.5's and ID XS-28....active and they sound awsome....if u find something is alil "brighter" or "louder" u can almost pinpoint it w/ the parametric eq and attenuate it.
