*need help* Will Avic-N1 work with a N3 disc?

I just bought an Avic-N1 and have obtained a N-3 Disc.

The Avic I got is NIB and has not even had teh original N1 disc loaded into it.

I was wondering if the N3 Disc will even work in my newely purchased N1?

Can you please post some info on this subject or let me know of any experiance you have with updating or installing a newer version disc into a Avic N1.

The disc will work with the N1...but I'm pretty sure you can't bypass it though once you upload the new software in it
