Need help tuning amp

I am installing a pdx-4.100, 6.5 rsd comps (front), and kicker ssmb6 midbass (rear) in my truck on sunday. What should i set the lpf/hpf for the midbass speakers, and what should i set the hpf at for the comps? Also what should the lpf be set at for my sub? (12" tc9... obviously not powered by the pdx)

thanks

Mid-bass and comps are the same? I read you should set LP for subs 10 Hz above lowest frequency of mid-bass (if mid-bass = 70 Hz set sub LP = 80 Hz). And I read that it's good to leave a gap between mid-bass HP and LP sub (ie. sub LP = 80-85 hz, mid-bass HP = 95-100 Hz).

try doing sub lp 60hz, midbass hp 60hz lp 500hz, comps- mid hp 100hz lp 3k highs 3k. all at 12db. are you running active or passive?

i have no idea about active or passive... i just know its the rsd component system.... its being powered by 2 channels... the kickers are being powered by the other 2 channels. By highs, i assume you mean tweeters?

can you fill me in on this?

thanks

oh also what test tone should i use for setting the gains for the kicker mibass and for the components?

there's many threads on active vs passive. yes, by highs i mean tweeters. but since you're running passive, disregard what i siad. i'm sure you're comps mid can play higher than 500hz. but as far as the midbass, keep it between 60 - 500hz. sub lp 60-80hz. comps hp 100hz. go from there.
